Stargazing Retreat: Being One with the Universe

with Mark Dammer and Katharina Kroeber

The beautiful skies of Iona, far away from light pollution and in their winter splendour, invite us to explore our outer and inner cosmos. This will include the opportunity to be guided through the night sky and its constellations and to view stars and planets through Mark's ETX 90mm reflector telescope, as well as to explore the inner universe in this quiet retreat space. No previous experience in astronomy is required but you are invited to bring your own equipment (telescope, binoculars). In case of wild weather there will be alternative indoor programmes. There will also be lots of time to explore the island and its sacred sites, to watch the spectacular landscape from the comfortable porch, to spend quiet time and to rest.

Traigh Bhan is the Findhorn Foundation Retreat House on the Isle of Iona, sacred island and place of spiritual power and pilgrimage. The house is cosy and comfortable, with its own sanctuary for meditation and reflection, a few steps from the beach, and has space for 6 guests. All food is included, and the cooking shared.

Sacred Dance: Footprints on the Path

A week of circle dances, our own footprints merging with those of the dance. A week of Sacred Dance, a path of manifestation and prayer, an inviation to the physical and non-physical realities to dance together in a living field of consciousness. Spiritual traditions as well as modern science speak of the interconnectedness of all things: this week we go on a journey of connecting with the web of life and the ways we create reality. Old and new circle dances, trancework, singing and drumming are our companions on this journey. Both old and new circle dancers are welcome.

You are invited to meet circle dances and people from different places and traditions, to work with us, play with us, share life with us and, of course, dance with us.
